Revere Welcomes Second School Resource Officer
Revere Welcomes Second School Resource Officer, Jerrime Weathers
The Revere Local School District is pleased to welcome Jerrime Weathers as our new School Resource Officer (SRO), effective September 30, 2024. Jerrime joins current SRO, Scott Dressler, in serving our schools with an emphasis on school safety and student relationships. Deputy Weathers will primarily be located at Revere Middle School and Bath Elementary School. He has spent his first week at each of these buildings interacting with staff and students during arrival, on the playground and in the cafeteria. His Junior Deputy stickers are in high demand!
Prior to obtaining his new position as a SRO, Deputy Weathers served as a patrol Deputy through the Summit County Sheriff's Office, worked in the Summit County Jail and began his career in the Summa Health police department. Deputy Weathers believes that he can be the light for a student when they are perhaps at their worst and make a difference in the life of a student. Deputy Weathers is married and has two daughters who are in 4th and 1st grade. Thank you to the Revere Schools Foundation (RSF) who has partnered with the school district to support the addition of a second school resource officer.
